|Bento Box from Nu Stand Deli|
Having lunch sitting on this bench was pleasant though, feeling breeze on my face, looking up the blue sky.
On May 9th, Nu Stand Deli opened and from time to time, I buy their bento box, sandwiches etc..
Had two one-on-one sessions this morning, both were business persons at this co-working space, after that I headed to Nu Stand and got this.
You can choose three kinds from this delicatessen to make your bento.
The above is my selection today. Top left is fried smelts in sweet and peppery vegetable sauce. Smelt sounds unfamiliar? It is small fish from ponds. Usually deep-fried. Top right is celery salad w/ citrus juice and pieces of orange.
Bottom right is pork ginger. The box is made of paper material, which I prefer to plastics. Comes with chopsticks, wet paper towel and paper serviette.
Including tax, this was a little less than 700 yen, equivalent to 6.3 US dollars.
( approximately, based on the forex as of May 21, 2017 )
I am quite happy to have this new delicatessen in our neighborhood.
