Mourning Period

Dear Blog Readers,

My father passed away this afternoon. He has been ill for the past several years.
Our family members were ready to face this.

Konakara --- Continued

These are spicy squid legs ( ?? is this correct to call it ? ) and the right is eggplant cooked in dashi soup with soy sauce. The topping is dried bonito flakes.

The right ball was deep fried tofu with ingredients such as carrots and seaweeds... The gray one is konnyaku (alimentary yam paste ) , which has hyotan shape. ( Hyotan is Calabash ).

White one is hampen , which has pink cod roe in the center. The deep left is spicy minced chicken meat, which is also Konakara's original. The color is from black pepper.
